We all have bills to pay

Selling out

Living in a world where creativity and fun are constant companions would be ideal, but the reality is different. We all have bills to pay, groceries to buy, and fun isn’t always free. Fortunately, I’ve discovered that the world of marketing aligns closely with my true passions.

The overlap between storytelling, marketing, and communication skills has made me a valuable asset to B2C businesses and organizations over the past few decades. Currently, I’m employed full-time at We The People, a digital agency located in South Melbourne. My role involves overseeing the production of social content for platforms like TikTok and Meta, occasionally handling larger-scale productions for YouTube or traditional media (TV and out-of-home advertising). Additionally, I take on the responsibility of bringing in new business for We the People in a business development management (BDM) capacity.

This includes onboarding new clients and ensuring that legacy clients continuously enhance their marketing and communication campaigns with well-crafted strategies.

The strategies I’ve developed were influenced greatly by my time working with the legendary self-appointed social anthropologist, Simon Ammond. Simon’s teachings during my tenure at the agency 50 Crates emphasized the importance of emotional connections, storytelling, and human interaction in marketing. He taught us to tap into what people truly desire, rather than simply relying on survey responses.

This approach resulted in the success of many projects under Simon’s guidance, and it continues to be the driving force behind my current and future endeavors, connecting with people in immeasurable and intangible ways. So, if you’re in need of a marketing campaign that delves deeper and forges authentic connections with your target audience beyond conventional methods, or if you aspire to outshine your competitors with high-end production capabilities borrowed from the world of film, then I may be the creative professional you’re seeking.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out, and together, we can explore the possibilities.
